Terms of service

These terms govern your use of:

• This website — pixogames.co and any subdomain
• Our games — every mobile game published by Pixo Games on the App Store and Google Play

By using the website or playing any of our games, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our games and our website. If you live in the EU/EEA and are under 16, certain processing requires verifiable parental authorization (see our Privacy Policy).

If you are a minor in your country, you must have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to play.

License to play

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play our games on devices you own or control, for personal and non-commercial use. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the games and our website — including all intellectual property.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify our games or the website
• Use cheats, bots, hacks, or unauthorized third-party software
• Exploit bugs to gain unfair advantage or to harm other players
• Resell, redistribute, or publicly perform our games or assets without our prior written permission
• Use our games to break the law

Your account

By default, our games create an anonymous device ID the first time you launch them. We use it to save and sync your game progress to our servers. You don't need to register, give us your email, or create a password.

If you choose to connect Google Play Games Services or Apple Game Center, those platforms' terms apply additionally. You can disconnect at any time in the game settings.

In-app purchases & virtual items

Some games offer consumable in-app purchases — virtual currency, boosts, special items, etc. We don't offer subscriptions.

Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment card or billing information; refund and chargeback decisions are made by the relevant store under its own policies.

Important — virtual items are non-refundable once consumed. Under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (transposed into Portuguese law as Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that has been delivered immediately and which you have begun to use. By tapping the "Buy" button you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge you lose the right of withdrawal once the virtual item is credited and used.

If a purchase fails to deliver due to a technical fault on our side, contact [email protected] and we will refund or re-credit it.

Rewarded ads

Some games offer the option to watch a short video ad in exchange for in-game rewards (currency, boosts, extra lives). Watching is always optional. Ads are delivered by third-party ad networks listed in our Privacy Policy.

Updates and availability

We update games regularly to add features, fix bugs, balance gameplay, and respond to platform requirements. Some updates may change or remove existing content. We may also discontinue a game with reasonable notice.

We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Server maintenance, third-party outages (Apple, Google, ad networks), and force majeure events can interrupt play.

Disclaimer & warranties

Our games and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond what mandatory law requires. We do not warrant that the services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose beyond entertainment.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Portuguese and EU law. In particular, your statutory warranty rights under Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021 (digital content) remain fully preserved.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you in relation to the games or website is limited to the total amount you have paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes:

• Liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Portuguese or EU law (in particular, your mandatory rights as a consumer)

Termination

You may stop using the games or website at any time — just uninstall the game.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms (cheating, fraud, abuse, illegal activity), if a game is discontinued, or if a payment chargeback is initiated.

If your account is terminated for cause, we may delete your game save without further notice.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Read our Privacy Policy for details on what data we collect and why.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Portuguese law.

Any dispute will be heard by the competent courts of Lisbon (Comarca de Lisboa), except where mandatory consumer-protection rules entitle you to bring proceedings in another forum.

If you are a consumer based in the EU, you also have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr for out-of-court resolution.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms meaningfully, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and announce changes on this website. Continued use of our games and website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
